Juvenile Probation

Juvenile Probation Services

  • The court orders probation to complete an investigation of a juvenile to determine their eligibility for probation supervision while charges are pending in lieu of detention.  Probation then provides supervision of juveniles who are released from custody on Pre-Trial Release.

  • The court orders probation to complete an investigation of a juvenile prior to determining the disposition.

  • Juveniles on probation are assigned a risk level as determined by validated risk assessments and are supervised accordingly.

  • Some juveniles on probation are ordered to ARC work crews, which serve as both a sanction and an opportunity to complete community service.
